Kayanna, Natyira, and Angeline work on their project on Carla Meninsky. Carla Meninsky is a female video game designer who worked with Atari during its earliest stages. The girls used Scratch to make a game in homage to her work. They also did their research and made a very beautiful poster on their role model.
This is the type of cookie I get cravings for: sweet, spicy, earthy molasses cookies. They're soft and chewy, and when they came out of the oven, they were soft enough to press images into with the fat end of a chopstick. The girls were pleased that I wrote "STEM GIRLS" out and then decorated the leftovers with leaves, referring to our love of "stem."

Catherine walks you through the path that Ashlee, Aydan, Natyira, Zorya, and Leila designed. Alyssa programs Natyira to walk through the path Alyssa created with Brooke, Kayanna, Ashley, and Angeline.
Because of difficulties with storage on our recording device (it's an iphone, we aren't fancy), we were unable to record every beautiful moment of the different groups' development from hunks of balloon and tape that refused to budge, and hovercrafts that skated across the floor before our very eyes. Instead, we've put together all the best moments of our fourth meeting. Alyssa and Zorya's hovercraft dances blithely across the floor. Ashley and Angeline are a twintastic team! Their hovercraft flies on a cushion of air.
